Ease your way into parenthood with compassion and support.

This sh*t is hard. And beautiful.

Let’s work together to make it less hard and more beautiful.

  • Birth Vision Planning

I will help you identify and communicate your personal desires for your birth. We will talk through common interventions and discuss your preferences for each, as well as what other important elements you would like to include (photos? candles? …dance party?) . The outcome of our time together will be a “Birth Plan” that covers a variety of contingencies so that you will be prepared, whichever way your birth goes. This session will prepare you to ask the right questions of your providers so that you feel informed and empowered throughout your birth. This is not intended to replace a childbirth education class.

  • Birth Doula Services

My doula services includes “Birth Vision Planning”, as well as in person support at your birth and a postpartum visit. Birth support includes hands on comfort measures and supported decision making, all with your emotional needs taken into account. During our postpartum visit, we will review the timeline and events of your birth to help you recall, process, and understand the experience. I will continue to serve as a resource through text and phone throughout your child’s first year of life. Click the button below for more info.

  • Birth Story Circles

In our culture, birthing people are often an after thought to the baby that’s arrived. While our lives are forever changed, we rarely get the chance to be heard. Whether your birth experience was exactly what you hoped and dreamed for, or unexpected circumstances left you wondering “where do I go from here?”, there’s room for all of us in the Birth Story Circle.

  • First Birthday Ceremonies

Behind the balloons and cake is a parent who is remembering the birth of their baby. I can help you plan and facilitate a ceremony that integrates this reflection into your celebration. Whether you are remembering your child’s birth day with joy, pain, or maybe both, there is a way to honor this on the first anniversary.

“People don’t always need advice. Sometimes they need a hand to hold, an ear to listen, and a heart to understand.”
